Danielle's Story // 4.9.14 // Starbucks

So this year, I have been quite the procrastinator with filing my taxes. I have been a bit overwhelmed with doing it, but I finally did them. Every year, my hubby and I get our friend to check over our taxes. 

Before I left to meet with her, I felt like the Lord told me to give her a word of encouragement. I felt like He was saying to that He wanted to remind her of His goodness in this current season that she’s in. I felt like He was highlighting Genesis 1:27 to share with her. I read that scripture over her and just continued to talk with her.

She said that she was really encouraged by this reminder that God told me to share with her and said she really needed those words of affirmation! 

I was so excited to be able to pass along all the kind words that God had for my friend. I love how He meets us just where we are! 

Danielle's Story // 4.4.14 // Panera Bread

So tonight I hosted our emanate Life Group at Panera Bread. It was very refreshing because only two people ended up coming, so we got to know each other a bit more! It was nice to hear the things that God has been doing in our lives and how similar a lot of the circumstances are! 

As we were sitting there and discussing things about life, I kept noticing this guy out of the corner of my eye. He was sitting on his computer for a couple of hours while we were there. As our night was wrapping up, I challenged the lovely ladies that I was with to ask God for a word of encouragement for this dude!

All three of us wrote out what we felt like God was saying and then shared it with each other. It was so cool to see how God spoke similar things to each of us! As we were on our way out we, I gathered our cards and handed them to the dude. I just told him how we had some encouraging words for him and how we hope he had a great night!

Once we were outside, we could see that he was intently reading his cards! It was exciting to see that he was actually reading them instead of just throwing them away or placing them aside!

All three of us were really encouraged that we heard similar things from God for that guy! I would like to encourage you pay attention to when God highlights a person to you!
