Danielle's Story // 11.18.13 // Grace Center

When I got to work this morning, I was sitting in my peaceful office before the students started showing up! As I was sitting there, I asked God for a few clues for the day. I felt like He was saying the following:

  • Location: work
  • Appearance: Blue shirt, blonde hair
  • Word: To encourage the person that they hear from God

Once school started, I looked around the room for a blonde haired person wearing a blue shirt. NO ONE. Boo! Once I didn’t find the person in the school, I went to the main church offices. NO ONE. I was starting to get bummed! 

At lunch my boss called and asked me to warm up some baby food and take it to the daycare for her. As I walked in, one of the childcare workers was wearing a blue shirt and she had blonde hair! YAY! I was so excited! It had never been so long before I found my treasure.  

I explained to her how I was looking for God’s treasure and I felt like it was her. I gave her the word and was on my way!

After finding my treasure earlier, I wanted to ask God for someone more specific! I asked what color shirt would the person in front of me would be wearing. I felt like I heard black!

As soon as I got into worship and was settled, I looked directly in front of me and there was a lady wearing a black shirt! Yay! I love getting confirmation that I hear accurately from God! 

Since worship was still going on, I walked up to her and told her how God told me that someone in a black shirt would be sitting in front of me today at church. I went on to give her the word that I felt like I heard him say! She seemed to blessed by the word! She definitely wanted to ask God more specific questions about it. 

Yay God!
